Avengers Infinity War Movie Review: Its All About Thanos

The most awaited and most anticipated movie of the year has finally come: Avengers Infinity War. We waited 10 years for the development of this movie and get to know the remarkable heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).  We've seen the backstory of these mighty superheroes one by one in Avengers Assembled and we’ve formed alliances for Team Captain America and Team Iron Man. Now, since the universe is in danger through the hands of the Mad Titan Thanos, they have to unite to save the humanity. Throughout the 18 MCU movies, avengers always win but this time they failed.

Thanos and the infinity gauntlet 

Thanos is the most dangerous villain in the MCU. His only objective is to complete the six infinity stones and to wipe out half of the universe. He will find these stones  with his Black Order, namely Corvus Glaive, Black Dwarf, Proxima Midnight, Ebony Maw, and Supergiant. They have invaded other realms and have come to Earth to find the stones.

This movie tackles the background story of Thanos and explores how evil he was in order to achieve his goals and to destroy everything.

Thanos and Young Gamora

Despite his wickedness, we saw a softer side of him and his relationship to Gamora. We have witnessed how he loves Gamora in all aspects, even though she betrayed him. But nothing changed. He gave up everything to get the Soul Stone and to complete the infinity gems. 

Marvel Studios and the Russo brothers used this storyline to have a deeper knowledge on the villains of MCU. Thanos is a villain who can play your emotions, giving us options between the good and evil, that we even consider taking his side.

Through the wrath of Thanos, this movie gave us a roller coaster of emotions from beginning to end. Marvel Cinematic Universe never failed us in putting humorous scenes and breathtaking fight scenes. But this time, we felt so much pain and heartbreaking moments when Thanos snapped his fingers and vanished our favorite Avenger. For now, victory is in the hands of Thanos.

There are cliffhangers and questions that popped out of our mind after seeing the movie. Who will defeat Thanos and who will avenge for our mighty superheroes? Is there any chance that they will resurrect? Is this the endgame of the Avengers?  I know the Marvel Cinematic Universe will give us more surprises and twists in the upcoming Avengers 4.
